Copy Deadline

Final copy must be submitted by the 15th of each month, for inclusion in the following month’s edition (which will be distributed on and from the first weekend of the month.)

Payment

Payment required by copy deadline date for new customers.
Payment can be made by:
- Cheque made payable to ‘The Broadstone Link’
- Direct Bank Payment (please ask for details)
- Cash
Packages of 6 months or more can be paid monthly by standing order

VAT

The Broadstone Link is a small independent operation and is not registered for VAT. Consequently, no VAT is charged on adverts.

Acceptable Formats

Adverts can be submitted in the following formats:
- PDF
- JPEG
- MS Publisher
- TIFF
- MS Word

If your advert is not available in an electronic format then we can produce it for you, charges from just £5. We can offer a very competitive design service, charges between £5- £30 depending on complexity and size of the advert (This is a one-off charge the ad can then be re-used in subsequent issues free of charge).

Distribution

3500 copies printed each issue. 10 issues are published per year (December and January, July and August are combined) Delivery is to one half of Broadstone one month, the other half the next, approximately 2500 homes each area. Over 1000 copies distributed to local businesses and made available at various pick up points, i.e. Broadstone Library, Broadstone Leisure Centre, Broadstone Post Office, local newsagents, local schools, etc.

Leaflet Drop

Targeted leaflet drop available at £35 per 1000, reduced rates for advertisers.

Digital Version

For added advertising benefits, a digital version of the magazine is available on line at no extra charge.

For bookings of 3 months or more, if you have a web site, it can be linked to the Broadstone Link web site at no extra charge.

Marketing Tips

Make your advert as eye catching as possible and include any logos or wording that customers will relate to your company.
In order to gauge the success of an advert, include an incentive to attract potential customers. This may be in the form of a voucher or a reference to quote for a discount to apply.
A package of adverts will have more impact than a single advert and customers are more likely to remember your name if they require your product or services in the future. Packages are also much better value for money.
